Our couple duo are joined together by a passion to see kids learning to swim. Having been involved in the pool prior to closure, Brendon & Michelle have been instrumental in getting the pool re-opened. This is an exciting opportunity to make it a huge community success.

Brendon & Vicky Rope are parents to three girls, and part of the Taradale Community. Vicky has experience in Relationship Management, Fundraising, Education, Communication and Marketing and Brendon with governance and operational experience in Aquatic & Facility Management. As past CEO at Pettigrew. Green Arena, EIT Institute of Sport & Health at the Sports Park and now as Senior Consultant running his own business smartz, Brendon’s skills lie in strategy, operations, policy and processes.

Michelle & Jon have swimming in their bones, with two teenage boys who were competitive swimmers at Greendale Swim Club and voluntary experience running the Greendale learn to swim classes prior to closure these two are keen to get kids back into the pool learning essential skills for life. Michelle is a familiar face in the community through her other business, Michelle Fey Photography.

Vicky will lead the team at Dolphin Academy ensuring a safe, inclusive and quality environment and programme is established for our community. Together our skill sets compliment each other, we are committed and driven to make this work and our values are aligned.
